Why I built something and gave it away.
Every developer remembers the moment code stopped being homework and started feeling like magic. For me, it was realising that a few lines I wrote could solve a real problem for a real person. That feeling never left — it's the reason I became a Full Stack .NET Developer, and the reason I still get excited every time I open my editor.
Over the past two-plus years, I've built and shipped features across the full stack: designing database schemas, writing clean C# and ASP.NET Core Web APIs, and crafting responsive Angular applications that people actually enjoy using. Along the way I learned that great software isn't just about working code — it's about how it makes people feel.
"A simple 'thank you' on paper can stay on someone's wall for years. That kind of impact shouldn't sit behind a paywall."
CertiCraft started with a small observation. Whenever a team lead, teacher or shop owner wanted to appreciate someone, they ended up fighting with clumsy templates, sign-up walls or watermarked "free" tools. Recognition — one of the most human things we do — had become a hassle.
So I built the tool I wished existed: elegant, instant, private, and completely free. No accounts, no tracking, no catch. I'm presenting it to the world as my way of saying thank you to the community that taught me so much — and as proof of what I can create when I build with purpose.
This is only the beginning.
